I have to say I am feeling really emotional right now. Supporting this team for 54 years, it is incredible that they have the ability to show you something new and unexpected, and pretty fucking great.

Who on the team has NOT been a huge part of post season success at this point? Just an amazing huge team effort. I know it's a rhetorical question but I think Bobby D is your answer... Go get 'em in Houston/Chicago, Bobby!
Sale is calling in on line 2

Cora is crying. I mean, we did win, right? Don't make me nervous. Just crying celebrating with daughter. Knives and onions

Whitlock has been the MVP of this season. But Kiké has personified it better than anyone. Exceeding expectations, squeezing the most out of every bit of talent.
Make no mistake about it, the Red Sox will go into the Astros series as heavy underdogs. This Rays roster was not all that impressive. Not so with Houston.

One of the biggest mistakes in judgment in my lifetime of RS fanatacism: hating the KKH signing. That guy just flat-out balls. What a turnaround this season for him too, I have no idea what magic happened there, he comes damn close to effectively replacing Mookie Kiké had more WAR than Mookie and -- no surprises here -- is having a better post-season.

This is the first team that’s made the ALCS that we’ve underrated it’s incredible. This site has also grown such a diversity of opinions it makes it that much more enjoyable to follow!

Knives and onions Chaim has gone on record saying the interview to rehire Cora was extremely emotional. His managerial career has run the gamut between the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, and now he’s close to the mountaintop with a team that has played its butt off all year.

Let's not forgot ERod tonight, giving us 5 strong on a night that we really needed it. The bullpen looked tired, at least Houck and Brasier.

12 hits in this game. The team's post-season batting average so far is astronomical. And against two of the best staffs in the AL.

I am prepared to get killed for this take, but I don't think I support doing a full blown world series celebration for an ALDS victory.

I would go Eovaldi/Whitlock, Sale/Houck, Pivetta/pen to start the series vs Houston.
Not a fan of throwing lefties vs Houston

Really only 1 run should have been earned since his first was due to Devers. Must be a big weight off Eduardo. Going to need more of this type of work from him.
