OMG, Dr. Martin Perez summoned to the ER to try and save a dying patient. The doc, who was last in his med school class, just killed the guy. RIP.

Who could’ve seen that coming??
The intensity of this hatred for Laz Diaz is something I haven’t felt in a long time

This feels like a massive momentum shift. And now Nate is burned up a bit for his next start. I’m crushed. Laz Diaz, that was outrageous. Cannot believe how bad he hosed Evo.

Any game you have Perez pitching in the 9th down one, you've mismanaged.

Red Sox 0-8 RISP, Astros 3-6. That’s the difference in the game.

I’m just baffled by the Perez move. There’s no chance he’s a better option than Eovaldi there.

5 runs (and counting) on that blown call. What a joke

We can rag all over Laz Diaz, but I can't imagine the explanation Cora will have for using Perez here. After going all in on this game by using Whit for two innings and putting Eo out there, he goes to the last guy on the staff down by just a run at Fenway?

Pivetta should have gone longer tonight. He was cruising. Sometimes modern baseball forces you to overthink what your own eyes show you. Yes, clearly it is you, random fellow on the internet, who is correct about this take, and it is the coaches and front offices of Major League Baseball, the most highly qualified and highly motivated individuals on the planet, who are wrong. That is the only logical explanation. Please explain why every poster here Must always agree with Supreme Leader like he was infallible and everyone who expresses a different opinion can be insulted. George Orwell write a book about that. It was called 1984.

I’m just baffled by the Perez move. There’s no chance he’s a better option than Eovaldi there. Pretty much. I was baffled of the taking Pivetta out on 65 pitches move, 3rd time through the order be damned.

Risked it with Perez due to the L/L matchup and he then proceeds to give up 2 bone-crushing hits on 2 pitches.

Short memories win in October You’re right I apologize for getting a bit dramatic. Just feeling crushed. But you’re right. This team can be very good at flushing it and coming out strong the next day. Going to have to happen now.
