I’m not sayin Brasier isn’t a major league pitcher. I’m just sayin that technically the Pirates are a major league team.

Brasier has an option. I guess they're waiting for rosters to shrink at the end of the month. Would be nice if they stopped giving him inherited runners.
Okay, white-knuckle ride but he got out of it with only the one run.

This team will be so much better without Devers and Xander.

This team is going to be fun ths summer when everyone is fully clicking. This team can definitely make a run at the title. JBJ has looked good all year as well.

Since the start of the season JBJ has been hitting pretty well even if the results aren't showing up: crispy, patient at bats, good contact like the flyball to warning track in the triangle yesterday. The results will show up at some point just to piss off the haterz.

As a bonus the Yankees suck and their idiot manager is making a fool of himself one week into the season is if a game in week one is the 7th game of the World Series.

The Twinks hit one (!) ball off Wacha that was more than 95 mph off the bat.
Early returns suggest that he might've been a good signing by Chaim... like we all thought. LOL.

The beauty of the Yankees at this time is it's more important to them to pretend, "Hey, we're the Yankees and can do no wrong" than to address obvious problems like Boone and Cashman. Whitlock alone should have gotten Cashman the door and Boone is always tight as a drum and walks around with a air of impending doom.

Personally I like him in the bullpen but that is just me. Put it this way, I didnt hate this signing like I did Garrett Richards last year from the second pen touched paper.

JBJ is now at his customary 90 wRC+. Just stay riiiiight there, Jackie, and I think we'll all be perfectly content.
(Well, almost all of us will be.)

Folks mocked Bloom's pitching additions, but as of now, if Hill, Diekman, Wacha and Strahm were a law firm, you couldn't afford them.

Is Wacha using the same pitch mix he was using toward the end of last season?

At what point are people going to say, "You know it seems like this Bloom guy studies the game closely and has a real ability to evaluate."
