Binelas or Blaze for 3b/1b power first guys?
Blaze has higher upside (power/batting average?) But Binelas - older by two years (happy birthday tomorrow) -- has done it two levels higher.

I’ve admittedly only been half watching the game, but Liu has been sitting 88-90 with the fastball according to the broadcast.

I think it's close. Their performance, adjusted for age, has been about equally impressive since being drafted. I'll give Binelas the edge because I think he looks much better outside the batter's box.
Blaze having better than average strikeout rates as a teenager in full season ball is pretty intriguing, even if he hasn't been murdering the ball on contact this year.

Cellucci must have a nasty move if he picked off 2 guys in 2 innings
Now to get him throwing strikes…

Good news: Hickey has a .437 OBP Bad news: Hickey is 0 for 17 throwing out basestealers

Good news: Hickey has a .437 OBP Bad news: Hickey is 0 for 17 throwing out basestealers Wow. As a team, though, they've allowed 66 steals on 75 attempts (88% success rate), so Mejicano (17%) and Garcia (13%) haven't necessarily been stellar. You wonder if, in part, the pitchers are failing to hold runners well. That said, they're one of 5 teams in the league allowing an 80% or higher success rate, and all but one team is allowing 75% or higher. Likely culprits are the bigger bases, the pickoff rules (can only throw over 2x), and the pitch clock (so no stalling to mess with the runner's timing). So Hickey hasn't been very good, but it probably shouldn't shock the conscience the way it would have previously, necessarily. Doesn't help the questions about whether he'll stick at catcher though. That one team, Columbia, is, of course, managed by Tony Pena's son Tony Jr. (Will admit I was hoping it was Tony Sr. at first.)

Looks like the pattern for Cellucci opening is Wednesday-Sunday.
Maybe it's working a little, but it's still not great. 4/9-5/8: 9 G, 10-14-13-10-10 5/11-5/25: 5 GS, 9.2-6-5-4-7-15
The only clear thing is the K's are up, because he's had both very good and pretty bad outings in both roles.
