NOTE: The complex leagues start in one week, making Monday games much less elusive.

Oh wow I assumed everyone was playing today. That's silly.
Also what they should've done is have last night week's series all go Wednesday to Monday, with today a matinee, then go straight into the next one. Like what's the point of the off day tomorrow for Salem? Nobody is traveling.

The attendance certainly can't be worse than your standard Tuesday night game.

Nice start for Juan Daniel Encarnacion. He went 27.2 IP with 30 Ks to only 5 BBs in May with a 3.57 ERA. Nothing dominant or overpowering, but a good month for a 21 year old in low-A.

Maybe not the right spot for the question but does anyone have a timeframe for Song? When is it reasonable to expect the Naval Academy to give a response to his request. If he got the Naval release today what would expectations be? I assume he would go to Fort Myers for a long stay? Would he even see affiliate ball this year?

If he left the Navy today, I would expect him to spend the next 10 months in Ft. Myers, minus holiday/off-season breaks, maybe including an inning or two in the FCL. A cup of coffee in Salem would seem to be the most accelerated scenario. Starting next year with Salem would be a rosy picture, IMO.
