BTW - Cs traded Noah Nonleh to SA. Highly protected 2nd, i believe.
Clears a roster spot and saves 7M.
Actually, 6.6 savings (per Marks).

I do think they get up for good teams and lay down for bad teams sometimes.

So - which version of the team shows up tonight? Tatum a chance to go against one of his MVP challengers. Good time to right the ship. I watched from start to finish. There is a very strong correlation between my viewing and the team winnings, and vice versa and as much as I like to think it means something, and I do, I know it does not.

Maybe, MAYBE the Thunder game flipped a switch and they remember now they have to play defense and not just outscore everyone? They won every quarter, so this was about intensity. Hope they continue to play hard D.

Hope they continue to play hard D. It’s almost like they don’t care like we want the playoffs to start. Then they snap out of it.

Last night's game was thoroughly enjoyable (a bright spot in my day - got COVID diagnosis on Monday, taking Paxlovid - feeling really tired, kind of like a bad cold - the metallic/bitter taste of the medicine is the only thing I can taste!) - the ball movement was back, the lock down D was back, the swagger was back - the J's and Marcus looked like they were having fun, Brogdon and White totally effective, Grant involved.
Good reminder to not sweat all the small ups and downs in the regular season - this team is built for the playoffs, and winning it all.

I was really really achy and had no energy at all for about 3 days. Other than that a slight cough and ocasional diziness but that was it. Get better. I get the feeling the Celts will have at least one more period where for a week or so they won't look anything like the team they can be, even most champsionship teams have these hic-cups during the long season, except for this years Bruins of course.

GodTEMN that wasn't always pretty, I think we're past the point we'll only see them giving any significant sh*t in the playoffs. Until then, wcp should be in PRIME form.

I think this team will get up for big games and play down to competition more often than not. Their record against good teams is really good, which makes me less concerned about the stinkers against bad teams. It’s an annoying habit for sure, but not an alarming one.

Yeah to me it's pretty clear now that they turn it up for good teams and chill for bad ones. It often works for teams like the Rockets but not always.
Really glad to see Timelord looking amazing out there after surgery.

I love Robert Williams. The impact he's already made on D is crazy. I love Robert Williams. Carry on.

I think you could make the argument he’s the 2nd most important player on the team, and he’s no worse than 3rd

I think you could make the argument he’s the 2nd most important player on the team, and he’s no worse than 3rd I’m not sure I’d make that argument given the small leap Jaylen took this year and how good they were without him. But he’s a massive difference maker on both ends (his offense remains underrated) and I don’t think they’re a true title contender without him.
