This is more of a situational trade. If the season continues the way it started, with Boston at the top of their division and Phillies at the bottom, it might make sense for a midseason Cliff Lee trade. I was thinking if we absorb the whole contract 3-4 prospects from the 6-20 range would be fair, but I could be off. Doubrount, as much as I like him, could be a piece in this trade also. The three headed monster of Lester, Lee, and Buch with a strong bullpen would play great in the playoffs.

No - stay the course. Try to compete this year while building for the future. Cliff Lee is old and expensive. Exactly what we don't want. If the season continues the way it is, Buch and Lester with ths pen is great in the playoffs. If there were a young pitcher available like Price who can be part of the future too. Different story, but Lee should not be a target unless it was a salary dump by the Phillies.
