Based on the reporting I have seen today - nice win by LFC as well - this signing looks like very good value for the money, particularly for a player who just distinguished himself on the world stage and was in demand. Liverpool have several key attacking forward players down with medium to long term injury and this looks like a play to try to blast their way back into the top four and Champions League money. Reminiscent of the love for Luis Diaz in the last January window. |

Watched a bit of soccer yesterday. Terrible game from the USMNT, but still squeaking through because the Canadian team was worse. They did have the one incredible play from Jones for the first goal. Looking forward to how they follow it up on Wednesday.
