I’ve been a Pivetta guy. This is tough to watch, though. But… the Braves are like an All Star team. Crazy lineup. I'm a Pivetta guy as well. That was awful though. He still has 50- 60 pitches left in him. Hopes those go allot better, while the mates chip away at the lead.

I don't think Enmanuel Valdez is going to be making a lot of plays with the infield in

I’m surprised we didn’t have Duran running earlier

Our offence will always battle. But we can’t fall farther behind Pivetta

Sheesh, Pivetta is just straight up bad this year.

I was thinking Houck would be the counter move to the bullpen, but Pivetta is making a strong case to being that frontrunner tonight.

Idk Lou, I get you're the former major leaguer, but when it's going to be a hard play for two guys, I was always taught it should be the guy's ball who is coming in because it's an easier play with everything in front of them. To me that was Verdugo's ball. No harm no foul, though.

Wow braves broadcast was talking about how Yoshida hadn't swung and missed in May, and it's immediately followed by three swings and misses in a row against Morton.

So, we’re those Yoshida’s first three swings and misses.

Nick making that rotation decision easy for Cora and Bloom.

Nick making that rotation decision easy for Cora and Bloom. The problem is you could make good arguments that any/all of Pivetta, Houck, and Kluber shouldn't be starting.

Why does it always take Pivetta 3+ innings to settle in?

Why does it always take Pivetta 3+ innings to settle in? Sounds like we need to piggyback Houck and Pivetta. Have Pivetta start his simulated game in the pen the same time Houck starts the actual game. By the time Houck is facing the lineup for the second time Pivetta will be in his happy place

Atlanta has an incredible hitting team but man Pivetta pitched horribly. Give Paxton his spot and see if he can do better

The offense can’t save the rotation every game. Maybe Pivetta can move to the pen and see if his stuff plays up, he’s been BP all year.

Pivetta has value, a career 4ish cost controlled starter that takes the ball every 5th day. On the other hand, when roster crunch time comes, I don't see it. A pitcher that sux first couple innings isn't exactly the perfect bullpen piece either.

Just keeps trending the wrong way. Not much value in durability if the innings are brutal.
