Casas should not be hitting that high in the lineup until he gets his crap together I think he needs to lose the crouch. He’s a huge guy. Use your leverage for god’s sake.

For the love of God, I'll take Pivetta at this point...

This is the thing that puts the lie to the whole "I don't need to know the stats, I use the eyeball test" attitude of the "old school" dingbats. If you are watching the games with your eyes, you would see that Casas has been on a tear for two weeks now.
I suspect it's O'Brien, in fact, who can't look past the stat line. But because he is an incurious dummy he's only seeing like the season batting line and probably RBI numbers or something.
I remember him doing the same thing when Eduardo Rodriguez had that terrible run of bad luck in 2021 - 7 games where if you were watching the games, you could plainly see he was getting killed by cheap hits. Yet DOB was crushing him on air, presumably because the ERA number was distorting his own perceptions.
What do we have to do to get Monaco as the full time play-by-play? By the way, I've been watching the Padres broadcasts and I can't say I get the appeal of Orsillo. He's competent enough at the play-by-play but doesn't offer any notable insight and punctuates it with tedious self-amusement. I wouldn't say he's any better than O'Brien, really.

Get Kluber out and off this team. It’s a joke he got this start.

Failing the Odor test should be the end of Kluber’s Sox career. This SD lineup is actually kind of pathetic.

Do not appreciate Kluber choosing Odor to be the one to break it open

Do NOT send him out for the second. A 4-run deficit is totally doable. It won’t be 4 if he starts the second.

Give the ball to Crawford for the 2nd. Make sure he is stretched out for his start in 6 days...

The Padres *wanted* to squander the RISP situation so bad but Kluber just wouldn't let them.

I’d even go one step further and say Remy annoyed me, too. Eck was the best, though. Loved him.
