Is tank talk too soon? If the Patriots end up with a high pick, they're taking a QB. I can't see them being top 5 and sticking with Mac for another year, even if he's not the biggest problem.

While Caleb Williams would be an upgrade, until they fix the OL the results are not going to be much better. They cant run the ball. They cant protect the QB. That doesnt leave you with a whole lot of options. |

Pop Douglas fumbles once and he's done for the day.
Mac Jones fumbles for a score, pick 6, another interception and almost threw a couple more in a blow out loss and Bill won't pull him.

The Patriots season is going to be a lot worse than the red Sox season. 5-12 perhaps? I had them at 5 wins if not for the Rodgers injury. It's incredible that despite all the Patriots woes, the Jets still can't beat them. 2 loses to Cam Newton. 2 loses to rookie Mac. 2 loses to Mac with Matt Patricia OC. 1 loss to the Mac led 1-3 Patriots. |
