I wonder what it would say about a 19 year old who has a 1.020 OPS in AA?

A .303/.436/.545 peak, if I'm reading that right?

A .303/.436/.545 peak, if I'm reading that right? Yes, but those are just translating his stats to the majors and then adjusting for age, it's not trying to be a regressed to the mean prediction. If he had 4 ABs in AA and got 2 hits, the translation would be for a .447 batting average or whatever.

Bringing Frank German in for the 8th was a little unsporting imo.

Bringing Frank German in for the 8th was a little unsporting imo. In 2010 the Altoona Curve faced Trenton in the Eastern League Championship and Trenton's Game 1 starter was the rehabbing Andy Pettitte. Chase d'Arnaud homered off him and earned a permanent place in my heart.

Luis Perales 6IP 1H 0R 2BB 4K Bringing Frank German in for the 8th was a little unsporting imo. German has pitched in each playoff game. He'll probably go up to Worcester on Tuesday I bet to get a couple AAA games this week (or maybe he stays with Greenville and then goes to Fort Myers). He faced 10 hitters in the 3 games, striking out 8, walking 1 and getting a groundout. What you'd hope but hey, it's progress. It's kind of fun to see the teams get into the playoffs and approach things very differently. Greenville has had the same starting lineup each game and essentially narrowed the bullpen to Cepeda, Bell, Cobb, Kwiatkowski, and the "rehabbing" German
