Also just so I don’t blame everything on the refs that Austin Watson goal simply can’t happen. Coverage was way too loose and just like in the Celtics game a guy who abused a woman made them pay. Worst possible vibes tonight. At least they got a point I guess Also, Zacha was 5 for 16 on face-offs last night. In OT, possession is absolutely everything. Sending Zacha out for the opening face-off is a coaching mistake. And one that probably cost the game. |

They had a chance to get at least a partial change around 25-30 seconds into their OT shift and didn’t take it too iirc. Naturally Tampa held on to the puck and caught the same players gassed and in the middle of a partial change not all that long later. I saw it coming a mile away. Not sure what Coyle’s FO numbers were but i would’ve led with him. Hell I think Beecher would be a great OT player too with his size and speed, he’d likely be better on draws Edit: yeah just saw CC was over 60%, bad decision from Monty |

The league supposedly making all these efforts to clean up the dirty play, but Florida can do literally whatever they want and will just not get punished for it. If I were the Boston GM, I would just not stop calling the league office and screaming at them about it. And I'd take the fine and go public with it too. It's not like I just complain becuase they beat us. I had no problem with Carolina or the Islanders or anything. It's just this team. They are ridiculous. |

These refs should be tarred and feathered. I watched McAvoy targetted shouldered to the head then I freeze framed the follow up elbow to the head, not only does he not get booted for the game as did McAvoy but he doesn't even get a penalty. I can't paste the pic for some reason. Pasta obvious trip. Lohrei touches their player they call a hold. The game is still 0-0 so to point this out is not whining about losing its about a rotten refs that should be canned. Terrible terrible bush league referess.

It goes back to the series last year. These guys kept showing all the dirty crap they'd do and kept saying "Florida is doing this to get under Boston's skin/ The question is how Boston responds" Never any talk about hey, maybe the refs should call some of this stuff. Never thought that was worth mentioning. Never thought to mention that Florida was doing stuff they shouldn't do, Playing dirty was just a strategy and all they cared about was whether Boston could win in spite of it. It was disgusting then. Still is now. |
