I’m legitimately heartbroken. An awful end to what was an iconic player.
I hope his family gets all the support they need and I hope he gets sober, this isn’t the first time he’s had an alcohol-fueled incident with her.
This just sucks

There's nothing good to say about wife beaters.
Good riddance to him. And from a hockey standpoint, it's not like he was even any good anymore, so it really doesn't hurt much to let him go.

He came back here to play in 4 games and managed to take a blow torch to his entire legacy. Given the statistics of what happens to abuse victims after being choked, I hope she's able to move on from him. This is assuming the reports are indeed accurate, but there doesn't seem to be an indication that it's not. Thoughts are with her and their kids. |

Also just so I don’t blame everything on the refs that Austin Watson goal simply can’t happen. Coverage was way too loose and just like in the Celtics game a guy who abused a woman made them pay. Worst possible vibes tonight. At least they got a point I guess
