What did Holiday and White get traded for again? Oh yeah role players and some late 1sts lol- Siakam is also a pending free agent Siakam gets 22/8/5 over the last handful of years. He’s hit 38% of his 3’s with the Pacers. He was an integral part of a championship winner- their #2 guy behind Kawhi. I genuinely don’t think you understand how good he is, which is strange because he’s been giving us the business. Siakim has a history of coming up very short against the Celtics. He’s a good not great player. Holiday and White were sold low on. You said it’s not even close, and I think that’s dumb. You can say I’m a big dumby honk homer for saying White and Holiday are each better players than Pascal Siakim. If you want to talk Gobert as a better second player than Holiday or White, I could see the argument a bit better. Siakim is ok. He’s good not great on both ends. White and Holiday are great defenders and good offensive players. I know Siakam has been the #1 option on a good team before. I know Jrue and White have not been that.

Yeah I know, do you? White, Holiday, Horford and the Unicorn play great in their roles. Well Holiday is now playing great, but no way do I think Holiday and/or White is better than all the teams #2 left. Why? They wouldn't look the same as the #2 on any of teams left. You are just looking at what they are doing in lower roles, not adjusting to if they actually moved to #2. Brosephus, Holiday won a chip as the second guy. You know this. I’m not talking about Horford or Luke Kornet. I’m talking about two guys who would be the second best player on these conference finalist teams, but are the Celtics 4th and 5th best players. That’s nuckin’ futs. No Holiday didn't, depending how you judge players, during the playoffs he was their 3rd or 4th best player. I'd say Middleton was their 2nd best player. Nevermind Holiday was crap in 1st round, good in 2nd round, lights out so far in 3rd round. It's like you only have the last few games on the brain. Which have been brilliant, but it's a few games. Not to downplay it, I hope it continues. I really don't want to be even typing this given his recent play. It's just crazy talk to say he's a better #2 than other players still playing! If he was one of these teams #2, they likely wouldn't have made it out of the first round. Celtics are the Celtics because he's likely their 5th best player. Let's just enjoy this crazy run and hope his play continues.

When he’s an efficient offensive player (which he has been for much of his career) he elevates into a top 30 player in the league.

Saying the Pacers or the Mavericks wouldn’t get out of the first round if you exchanged Jrue for Siakim or Kyrie is probably wrong and not the point.

the non superstars bad game is 23/6/5 😂 I believe I was slightly behind watching a recording, (I record every game, B's, C's & Pats, I don't have space nor regularly watch the Sox anymore) when I wrote that he follows up bad halves with good ones nearly every time and don't you know it he did it again. To nit pick Tatum is he take to many 3's and at times is not aggressive enough driving to the hoop (although these two things are really one) and I wish he was slightly more clutch, Brown is fairly clutch except his free throw shooting needs to improve and while he's made strides with his ball handling I'd like to see that improve a little more and/or recognize better when not to penetrate into just to much traffic. These are things that we see glimpses of but that's usually it, glimpses of it. They have improved their respective games a lot. For the love of god we better win it this year, because while I still expect the Felger like bashing, they will come across that much more petty. I'm not saying they are above critiques but perhaps we should wait until the end of games?

Luka Doncic is a goddamn psychopath. Hits the game winner and screams at everyone’s face. On the road too. Dude is pure malice. Edwards is not the next MJ after all. It’s a goofy white dude from Europe. And he's already had several game winning shots against the Celts in the limited amount of games we face them each year. Add in Kyrie, and god I'd love to beat him as he messed up here in Boston, but putting him with Doncic also makes me a little nervous facing them in the Finals too. When's KP back? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) Are we not supposed to be possibly getting him back game 4? This series is starting to look like a 5 game series at worst without Halliburton I'd love to see KP get some minutes under his belt before the Finals. I know we don't need him for this series but that misses the point, you want whatever rust KP has off before the Finals or at least off after game 1.

Don't you dare take things out of context, you are talking about him being better than any teams #2 in conference finals. He shot 35% and averaged 7.8 points a game! That's crap for any teams #2, no matter the round or team. What's next more Jordan Walsh is the Celtics best defender?

Any inklings anywhere on Halliburton's status for tonight's game?

Haliburton out for tonight This isn’t that huge of an advantage as it may seem. Attacking Haliburton was key to our gameplan and McConnell is a better defender. Plus, it’s just harder to scout a team when their leading man is out. They need to play focused and hard like they did in Game 2 and we got this.

Haliburton is the straw that stirs the drink. Without his pick and roll prowess, there’s not much shot creation on this Indiana team. The Celtics still need to take the game seriously but no doubt that this is a much worse Pacers team.

The game announcers mentioned that Mazzula told them them he had no idea where that game 4 comment came from. He said KP has not yet been practicing with the team, only working out by himself. I don't know if that is a smokescreen or not, but it's sounding more like we may not see him this series. Hopefully I have read that wrong. Whoops, I lost your quote. It was your comment about when is KP coming back.

Shams also seemed to indicate Porzingis is very close to a return and even if the C’s are up 3-0 they may want him to get a little clock in game 4 even if its very short.

I don't think as much changes as people think, the Pacers offense is a team ball movement offense. What they'll miss most is Haliburton iso. Good test after a big game two win to see if they have that killer attitude. Come out and destroy this team and make this series 3-0.

If Jrue is sick, I'd rather him watch the game from home. I'd rather not get any of the other guys sick. They should win despite the injuries. No Haliburton makes things easier.

Non superstar Jayson Tatum He's having a great game for sure so far! I won't discredit him if he puts up big numbers on a team that doesn't play D. I'll only use it if he's not. If this is Tatum's wake up game then they're beating Dallas.
