Tatum had a few chances to ice this game. So many other good options hitting tonight. Disappointing it has gotten this close.

Brissett did EXACTLY what you want from him, the second he checked in the intensity picked up. Sparked the team with his energy. Love his aggressiveness on the offensive glass

Pritchard, Brissett, Hauser and Horford...6-9 on the squad...totaled 62 minutes playing time and produced only 8 points.
We need more from our bench.

They’re always going to be the 4th or 5th option when they’re out there so the bench won’t be scoring many point this year. They just need to hit the shots when they get them. It’s not gonna be like last year when Brogdon would at times be the #2 scoring option out there (if not the #1 if the j’s are both off the court) |

The talent is so good and stretched out that the Celts can win ugly. They are more versatile to win then they have been in a while. I'm looking forward to this season and not going to bitch after every loss, seriosuly losers do that and only true losers. After trends that don't change for a while or true lack of efforts which is not going to happen with this team should anyone whine here? No! That is for real. expect fustration early on this season as 40% to 60% new starters on any given night. In the end the talented players WILL figure this out, AKA anyone here should slow your roll and quit your bitching and enjoy the ride especially when it gets bumpy. If you don't get the last few sentences your the last guy in the world I'd ever want to depend on. |

I'm happy with the two wins & happy with the new additions. Great to watch D White play ball like it's supposed to be played. Al looks spry -- let's bottle some of that for June.
I've seen a lot of grumbling about the bench scoring, or lack thereof. Well, they haven't scored much, as yet. But I think a large part of that is they don't touch the ball when they're in the game. Tatum or Brown become de facto PG and dribble/watch away the shot clock before finally going 1 on 5, or running a 2-man action that does not include PP or SH. How are those guys supposed to get buckets like that?
Hauser is a shooter & they tend to be streaky. He starts the year 0 for 5 and then last night finally hits one -- you could, literally, see the sigh of relief -- and he never got another shot. Aren't super stars supposed to make others better? Shouldn't they be looking to run actions to get Hauser & PP shots?
I am not a fan of PG Brown -- can we end that experiment now?

He probably doesn't trust Stevens and Svi yet. |

And he’s showing me the qualities I want in a coach this offseason which is someone who’s willing to grow and isn’t just set in his ways. I’m going to happily give him time and enjoy watching him and this team grow. His game management down the stretch again Miami with the timeouts was a 180 from what we saw last year. That’s something I look at as encouraging. |

And he’s showing me the qualities I want in a coach this offseason which is someone who’s willing to grow and isn’t just set in his ways. I’m going to happily give him time and enjoy watching him and this team grow. His game management down the stretch again Miami with the timeouts was a 180 from what we saw last year. That’s something I look at as encouraging. Team has been much more composed late and he hasn’t let them bleed out on the court yet, so definitely some improvement so far |
