I just finished it last night. Quite a series - lots to think back on during all of those great Brady years.
One of the main takeaways for me - Coach B's continuing mystery surrounding not playing Butler in the SB - helping the Eagles to pick apart our secondary.
Those who watched - what did you think?

I never watched it, but I think you highlighted the biggest problem. Series like these you need to learn new things and get sizeable revelations. What was shown that wasn't already known and came as a surprise? Not being snide, I just haven't heard anything that came as a shock. The fact that Bill wouldn't talk the Butler benching and Brady not talking deflate gate is pretty disappointing. The way the radio talks about the series it sounds like it was made as one long commercial to tell us, "Kraft/Brady good, Bill bad".
But that's my two cents as someone who hasn't seen a second of it.

I actually really enjoyed it because of the ability to relive lots of Brady's career, hear the various interviews and real game audio, and marvel at what they accomplished. Then again, my wife and I binge lots of series in general. I found the weak points were far less than the interesting ones.

I'll grant you I didn't think of it as just getting relive the glory days which does come with its own set of value.

It was a Kraft puff piece. The last line of "And the man who kept these two together for 20 years" says it all.
My fear is not Robert, you know he has a good heart and is a little tight with the wallet but loves winning. When Jonathan truly takes over, we are in for some dark times. He's going to be like the rest of the Nepo Baby owners: put little in, take as much money out as possible. I think he actually comes across as the worst in the series from his Boston Herald comments to other things.
Finally, Bill does himself zero favors, as usual. But boy do they pile on him. I do think now that Bill is officially out of the league we will hear what actually happened with Malcolm Butler. Remember, filming was completed prior to the 2023 season. So Bill was still in full Bill mode: no talking to the media, say as little as possible. Kraft saying he blames him for the Eagles Superbowl and Bob Holer basically saying Bill was at fault for Aaron Hernandez killing people was insane. At no point was there any criticism of Kraft or even Tom really, but we knew that was going to happen.
Overall, great watch, but you have to know what the lense is: Tom great, Kraft family really great, Bill was great but now bad.

Rodney & DMac take exception to how Bill is portrayed (I didn't think I could love Rodney any more than I already did-- I was wrong):
