Gotta say, the forum seems hopping already and I see a lot of new names. I wonder if this little engine of misfit toys of a team has generated greater interest than in recent seasons. I wonder if the data on this board supports that assessment.

I think it's probably true that early season success drives team interest. I know a bunch of people who bought tickets after the first week. It's much harder to look a .575 (third place) team or whatever and imagine how good they might be, though any time they go on a run...

Historically, our page hits go as the team goes, to a large degree. Sort of counterintuitive when you think that if the MLB team is down people want to read up on the future but it tends to correlate to how well the MLB team is doing.
That said, the past year or so has been some of our best success. I think the org pushing the farm a lot may have something to do with it.
