4 triples already on the year....he had 3 last year and 10 in his career before this season. Just a fluke I guess, he obviously isn't getting faster?

For a right-handed hitter like Bogaerts, an uptick in triples might be indicative of an increased ability to drive pitches the other way. Tough to hit triples to left field, but drive a ball to the right-center gap and you give yourself a shot.
