What is likely a gameday glitch, I choose to believe is Cora taunting Yoshida by having Abreu and Refsynder run back and forth in the outfield.

They're winning games with like half a Triple-A team out there... If the season ended today they'd be in the playoffs lol! Relax folks So, nothing to point at? Meanwhile, Andrew Bailey has clearly had a massive effect on the pitching staff is also clearly the reason that the team is winning games I mean... there are little things like Cora going out to the mound for Kutter Crawford and keeping him in instead of pulling him, to which Crawford said, "It instilled a lot of energy and confidence in me." But you make a great argument, and I've been converted. FIRE CORA!!!!!

Bobby has been a stud defensively, Pablo looks terrible at 3rd

Now it makes sense why Yoshida isn’t playing. He wouldn’t have been able to run back and forth before the first pitch.

Reyes' range at 3rd is OK but he definitely doesn't have the arm for the position lol

Bobby has been a stud defensively, Pablo looks terrible at 3rd But at least Pablo is also striking out 30% of the time, not walking, playing horrible defense at other positions too, getting thrown out on the bases, and making the quality of contact Devers would have with a Q-tip.

Dalbec has got to be one of the league leaders in balls called as strikes.

Dalbec has got to be one of the league leaders in balls called as strikes. Both gameday and statcast had all those pitches as strikes (except for the super outside 2nd pitch).
Nothing about Dalbec's at-bats has been unlucky.

Brutal squander given the pitches they had to work with.

No, as has been explained in multiple other posts, Refsnyder can play 1st, Masa to left, and Bobby to 3rd. Really not a hard switch Is it not obvious to everyone that the FO does not want Yoshida in LF! Yes, Yoshida is unplayable there compared to the other option: Duran, O’Niell, Abreu, and Refsnyder! Why play Yoshida when your best chance of winning is run prevention! Cora is frustrated in the interviews as he may want to play Yoshida and the FO has said NO. I agree with the FO. My crystal ball says Yoshida gets the David Price 50% discount….do the Dodgers need a ground ball machine at DH….no…..maybe the Cubs will take him…. There is a 0% chance that Yoshida’s defense is so much worse than Refsynder’s that his offense isn’t far outstripping Dalbec or Reyes

Duran could use a day off IMO I'm ok if he gets 3 or 4. His swing is all over the place right now

It’s refreshing to find a player who isn’t that good and is probably a nice guy, then hate the living shit out of him. And I found him. Will Brennan. Please exit my life

McKenzie is throwing 68% fastballs today at an average velocity of 91.1 mph. The Sox have only swung at 40% of his fastballs in the zone. 7 total swings, 4 whiffs. He's allowed a .472 xwOBA on fastballs this year -_-

Meanwhile, Andrew Bailey has clearly had a massive effect on the pitching staff is also clearly the reason that the team is winning games So, still not a Cora fan (I think) but this is a weird time to be dumping on him. The team has exceed my expectations and unlike most of the last two years they're kina fun to follow right now. Sure, maybe most of that is Bailey but I think Cora deserves some credit too. Save the bad vibes for another day. It’s not about bad vibes, it’s about curiosity over what makes Cora so beloved? I’m legitimately curious as to what people see that myself and multiple others in this thread don’t seem to see? That’s all

Leaving Anderson in to face Ramirez is certainly a decision.
