O'Donnell looking to keep the hitless streak going. Went five perfect in his last start, four no-hit innings in his previous piggyback outing.

From all the videos I've seen so far, looks like Romero has been hitting the ball harder this year. I love that swing, just need him to stay healthy and I think he could make a big jump.

Is it reasonable to think that Campbell will get the call up to Portland at the end of the month? He simply seems unchallenged in Greenville and would love to see him in a lineup w/ the big 3.

Nowhere to play in Portland until they move Yorke up. Campbell's K-rate is over 28%, seems to me like there's still stuff to work on down there even if he's probably ready for a new challenge.

How much of Romero’s ranking is his injury history?

Drive seem to be irritated that Worcester's 20 runs last night stole the thunder from their 15. They're clearly shooting for 21 today.

Lugo needs to be in Worcester before long.. if they want to, they can find room and rotate guys through at DH

He looks like he's filled out a bit, definitely not 175 lbs anymore.

That would be awesome as someone in the area, but he's running a 35% K rate so he's gotta even out his approach a little bit more. I think he'll be there in late August if all goes well.

Romero looks absolutely fabulous, talk about an embarrassment of riches in the middle infield that's climbing the ladder. Add in Bleis and Anthony in the outfield and the future sure looks bright.. Romero looks like he's not long for the level.

How much of Romero’s ranking is his injury history? He was ranked ahead of Roman Anthony before last season. He missed a bunch of time with his back, then played for a month and showed some okay skills at the plate but could not hit the ball hard before his season ended with more back trouble. Now he has a rebuilt body and is impacting the ball. I am ready to believe.

Allan Castro with a go-ahead two-run HR. He's reached base 4 times today.

I'm sure it's mostly if not fully just recency bias but it feels like the Sox haven't had this type of talent in the low minors in a while. Either way so far this year it's been a very fun start for a prospect follower.

Fair, fair. I would say given that Campbell is of a more advanced age for the high A level, I’d think it would be better if he worked on his K rate @ the AA level where the adjustment would translate better in the long run.

Let’s not sleep on Allen Castro. He’ll be 21 on Friday. Same age as college players in upcoming draft. OPS is good. Expect BA to come around. Good athlete.

How much of Romero’s ranking is his injury history? It's subjective. Every outlet puts a different value on player injuries, wondering how they will recover. Romero got dropped in most rankings by quite a bit. Keith Law is maybe the most forgiving on player injuries keeping Romero in his Red Sox top 10 and not budging on Mayer when he was hurt last year.
