Can’t believe we have to watch that jerk Marcelo Mayer play twice today. The horror!

Speier on his podcast saying Mayer promo is imminent, Anthony could be at the same time or a little behind. Teel third in line but they are having discussions on his promo

Surprised Teel is not considered ahead of Anthony. Probably more to do with his receiving needing work, as his path to Boston looks clearer.

I kinda want to promote Teel the most just to make the tender/nontender decision with McGuire as simple as possible

FCL Red Sox are up 16-0 on the FCL Twins after 4 innings.
EDIT: it was actually 16-1, but whatever.

Wikelman strikes out the side in the first inning with five whiffs. Something to build on (hopefully).

Wikelman goes 3IP 1H 0ER 2BB 6K (51 pitches, 27 strikes, 8 whiffs) Any info on why only three innings? He has gone into the fifth innings many times this year.

His last two outings were in relief with the same 50 pitch limit
