It's nice to see Breslow & Co. ID a BPA (in their words) that also fits organizational need. (at both MLB/MiLB levels)
We have way too few LHP, regardless of if they project to start or relieve. Although they have both been great, our MLB LHRP #1 and #2 are both 32 year old journeymen. It's certainly not a position of surplus.
Also - Tolle now represents Breslow's first draft-selected pitcher. We have seen him 'target' others via acquisition (Fitts, Criswell, Sandlin, etc.), but it will be interesting to see how he fares with guys he hand picks from the jump. Tolle sounds fairly raw for a college arm, particularly with his secondary offerings, but the brain trust seems confident and enthusiastic about their plan to develop him.
Even if he projects more towards 'floor' than 'ceiling,' he should be a valuable asset.

It looks like there should have been enough space in the tweet to include the other two names. I'm going to guess that they are excluded because they don't start with the letter "G". Jordan Romano and Alexis Diaz Thanks. So clearly a 50/50 shot he's an All Star starter or a reliever with a FIP of 6.16 or 4.04. I do often find what's not said or intentionally left out is as, or more, important than what is said.

Went back to watch some of Tolle's old games this season, and I have to say he does have some superficial similarity to Jay Groome. I didn't see nearly as much of the inconsistent lower half in terms of different landing spots and the arm falling behind / being sped up in relation to the legs, but I'm the furthest thing from an expert.
