Right. I "construed" KLAW didn't say that.
But I had already read the article and the comments.

Ok. I'll just link all of you gents to a post when KLAWs Top 100 comes out 🤷🏾♂️
Edit: "There are none so blind as those who will not see"
I can construe the meaning of the above phrase, if needed too.

His numbers as a whole this year are kinda insane for an 18 YO first season stateside. Especially when combined with the good glove at SS. Like wouldn’t shock me if he’s a top 5 prospect in baseball eventually insane

In 32 PA at A ball, he has 4bb/6k. After a hot start, he's 0/17 with 3bb/4k in his last 5 games. I'm guessing it's just really bad luck based on the K/BB numbers. He did have a .421 BAbip in the FCL, so this could be luck sorting itself out.
Still, we may want to pump the brakes a little. At least about talks of him starting at Greenville next year.

There are definitely some things to really like in the numbers about Arias so far in Low-A. Numbers are obviously down from the FCL His BABIP is now also swinging drastically in the other direction. As mentioned previously he had a absurd .421 BABIP in the FCL and now is at a .167 BABIP in Salem. Both are unsustainable, so I'm curious to see what his numbers look like once that regulates over the next few months. His SwStr% is also pretty good, better than what Miguel Bleis put up (albeit marginally, and 2nd best among anybody with 40 PA, only behind Daniel McElveny who is 21 y/o in Low-A.
Overall, so far, so good even if the numbers aren't there counting stats-wise, I would also mention that Salem's obviously him having that bad of a stretch isn't fun to see, but I like the numbers I'm seeing, still has a 10% BB% too despite heading up a level. I don't want to just fully go crazy on the hype train just yet, but I am about convinced that he could be top 5 heading into next season (probably 5 mind you, but still) and I wouldn't rule out an Anthony-like season depending on how his offseason goes.

Heading into 2025? Arias could be in the top 100 and not crack the system's top five.

Arias won MVP and "Top Prospect" in the FCL.
