Got a report that Arias' homers today were bombs. They played in the Braves' MLB park, not the back fields. His EVs are great for his age. Makes good swing decisions. Would like some better in-zone contact.Interesting...didn't Arias have the highest (overall) contact rate in the system last year at 89% or do you guys have different numbers from Longenhagen? Maybe I misinterpreted Longenhagen's comment too and he meant just DSL? Either way, I wonder if the system approach to swing hard for a power vs. contact tradeoff has taken to Arias this year. If so, it's probably been a welcomed tradeoff so far.

Juan Valera's last two outings add up to a 9 inning perfect game with 13 Ks. Not too shabby my friends.
