All 4 teams battling for two playoff spots won yesterday, so it's still essentially a 4-way tie. FCL Sox finish with 2 games against the FCL Rays (with tomorrow a day off between those games), one of the teams they're tied with.

Interesting to see so many TBDs for our team starters With the recent All-Star break and the announced promotions, a wrench has been thrown into the mostly systematic pattern for the AA and below. It's a good reason to check in tonight and see who gets that starts. I think it will likely be tomorrow at least before we see one of the promotions make a debut.

Yeah don't read into it. Gun to my head it'll be Hagenman, Wikelman, and either Portes or O'Donnell for 3 of the staters. Greenville is a complete wild card between Rogers, Wehunt, Mullins, or Elmer. Worcester has Keller listed on milb but I wouldn't be surprised if he's scratched to go to Denver.

Rays with 5 in the bottom of the inning. 5-2 FCL Rays now, bottom 5th. Scheduled for 9 innings EDIT ADD: Currently 5-5 in the 10th 6-5. They lost. Pirates won as well. Tigers play a night game against the 12-43 Blue Jays. 1 back with 1 to play. No idea what the tiebreaker is - it's possible they're already eliminated. Red Sox play the Rays on Thursday and obviously need to win. Pirates are at the 20-38 Braves. Tigers at the division-leading Yankees. They're going to need a lot of help at the very least.

Caleb Bolden starting for Portland. My guess is he's an opener for Wikelman.

Wuilliams Rodriguez in July: 15.1IP 6H 1ER 4BB 15K Hitless in his last 8.1 ip, too. 8.1 ip, 0 hits, 3bb/8k. That's his last 2 games. If you go back into the 3rd game, he's hitless over his last 10.1 ip. 3bb/10k.

How often do out minor league affiliates go 0-7 in a single day? Will gladly trade it for the Sox breaking a 4-game skid any day of the week, tho

So, if they are following the old GCL tiebreakers:
-If the Red Sox lose, they are out. -If the Red Sox win, and the Pirates and Tigers both win, the Red Sox are out. -If the Red Sox win, the Pirates win, and the Tigers lose, the Red Sox and Rays would tie for the wild card lead. The Red Sox have the tiebreaker, so that would get them in are the wild card team. -Here's the tricky one: If the Red Sox win and the Pirates lose, there is a three-way tie in the division, with a tie broken by fewest runs allowed per game. The Red Sox have allowed two fewer runs than the Pirates, so if the Red Sox allow three or more runs than the Pirates do, than the Pirates win the division; one or fewer more, the Red Sox win; If they tie in runs allowed, it comes down to runs scored, where the Red Sox have a 20-run advantage. SO: -If the Pirates lose and don't gain the tiebreaker, the Red Sox are division champs, and the wild card isn't relevant. -If the Pirates lose but gain the tiebreaker and the Tigers lose, then the Red Sox are the wild card team. -If the Pirates lose but gain the tiebreaker while the Tigers win, then the Red Sox are out.
