Not be outdone by Red Sox Red putting up 18 runs yesterday, Red Sox Blue matches that today (although I believe it was the finish of the suspended game). But still. It was from the July 22nd game. Dodgers missed the opportunity to get Bolivar an at bat so he was on both sides of the box score. He played in the scheduled game and had a couple of hits. Such a bummer. More fun to see odd history made in baseball if they had played him in the original game. Red Sox have this same situation with Jansen having already played for the Blue Jays in a continuation game coming within 2 weeks as part of a double-header at Fenway. I think Jansen is actually supposed to be the batter for the Blue Jays when that game restarts. |

I don’t think it’s a stretch that Penrod takes Horn’s spot in a week or two. When Hendriks is ready, Kelly probably gets the axe. EDIT: when Slaten is ready, it’s probably Winck who gets the axe. |
