I'm not as bullish on today's pitching as I was on yesterday's.

Checked on Moises Bolivar and the Dodgers are playing him every other day, so it does not seem like they think they got away with something with that deal.

Yo Adam how we looking down there tonight and tomorrow? Weather is going to be hit or miss. Tonight looks good to start and then rain will come in later. Tomorrow didn’t look good but it’s trending better. I’ve been keeping an eye on Sunday for Valera and the projected rain keeps moving back a bit.

These funny jersey days on Saturday can be kind of comical. Worcester's opponent had "Pigs" on jersey, now see Portland's has "pugs".

I think Lehigh Valley uses their porcine alternates a lot--they also have uniforms that say Bacon USA. I enjoyed the Wicked Worms of Worcester uniforms. It gets tiring shooting red all the time; green was a nice change! Love the caps.

Password looking a fair bit bigger than the 6'0", 163 lbs he's listed as; not complaining, just an observation Longenhagen at Fangraphs lists him as 6'2" 220lb, with the below description: "Garcia made the bottom of last year’s list despite posting red flag strikeout rates because of his physicality and power. He’s listed at just 163 pounds on his official minor league player page but is at least 50 pounds heavier than that. He has thunderous power to the opposite field and his swing’s finish is incredibly ferocious. This is a physically dense young man who has a shocking amount of fluidity in his hips and shoulders for someone so strong. Garcia’s power was really only evident during in-person looks in prior years, but he’s finally producing on paper in 2024, posting 14 first half home runs, more than he had in his first three seasons combined. It’s big time all-fields juice that has been undercut by swing-and-miss issues until this year when Garcia has reduced his strikeout rate pretty substantially. His lever length will probably cause him to have strikeout issues in perpetuity and, while he’s still playing a lot of center field, his size means he’s destined for a corner outfield assignment at maturity, so this is still a pretty volatile lower-level prospect who evokes Franmil Reyes and Steven Souza."

And the answer to the question of the day appears to be yes.

I'm not as bullish on today's pitching as I was on yesterday's. Bad call! Another solid pitching night from Keller, Gonzalez, Duffy, Carlson, Mullins, Adams and others. And another sweep. Great stuff.

Kind of liked Duffy last night. Got whiffs on the fastball and changeup. Slider looked like a nice third pitch. Threw a bunch of cutters in the first before putting it away in one of the most obvious instances of working on a new pitch I can recall seeing. Not that he's a top 30 guy for me but he def belongs in the top 60.
