Van Belle was horrible as a starter, but seems to be much, much better in relief. Does his stuff play up enough in relief to be considered at some point in the future as a reliever in Boston?

He doesn't miss enough bats. On the other hand, he does induce a lot of GBs. I'd guess he's more of a break glass in case of a fire type.

Teel has also been doing well hitting recently. Personally, I attribute the small downturn to the fact that he's caught a lot more innings this year than he ever has. Catching is tiresome as evidenced by Wong's second half declines.

Yeah his good stretch is now longer than the August slump. He's fine.
