That saying about chicks and the long ball...how does that go again? Chicks can dig the long ball all they want, but when its accompanied by a 7:1 BB:K rate, prospect lovers get all googly-eyed. One of the sexiest PoW lines I can remember.

Xander hasn't had a K in his last 5 games. If Iglesias stays up, the difference between AA and AAA may not be enough to hold him back. Especially given Bogaerts maturity/work ethic... I had no doubt if he hits .250 for a couple months in Pawtucket, he'll adjust.
Nice to see Snyder hitting well though... may get some run if the Iggy/Mbrooks tandem has an injury or ineffectiveness-er.
EDIT: based on my calculations Sat night... had Xander gone for a HR+2B last night, may have pushed an OPS of 2. Oof.

Just to add Garin Cecchini had a nice week (not PoW worthy), hitting .320 with .433 OBP. Just one XBH (a double) but I'm impressed with his ability to handle not getting pitched to.

Bogaerts lost out on EL Player of the Week somehow. Brandon Waring of Bowie hit .417/.548/1.083 with 5 HR to win. I guess I get it, but wow.

He slugged a bit more but that's it. X was on fire but I guess X will win A LOT more player of the "fill in the blank" honors in the future than Mr. Waring will. Enjoy it for once.
