The ump owes Pivetta two of those $h!tyy strikes her called on Grissom. He and Casas have the world’s largest zones. It’s like the umps are hazing the tall young guys

Look at this lineup. Hard to blame the hitting coach for the lack of offense IMO

It feels like Grissom get to a 3 balls count in every one of his at bats and drew a single walk yet lol This is basically spring training for him, but I have to say he just doesn’t seem athletic at all. Slow, no bat speed, no hard contact. I’m glad the Sox have a lot of darts to throw at 2B in the system, because I’m not totally sold on any of them individually. Thats not to say he won’t turn out fine either, but he’s not showing much juice so far and Atlanta had been souring on him too.

I’m against drafting Cam Smith. A 17.8% K% translates to mid 20s in pro ball and a .268 ISO at Florida State is nothing special at all. I have a hard time seeing his bat being good enough for 3B. Hes having a great year but his BABIP is out of control and he’s simply not the power hitter he’s made out to be in game.

Electric fastballs are way less common in AAA so I’m not going to hold Kavadas’ great numbers against him

OPS up to .716 in a league that is really struggling to hit

You gotta love the Tatum pound the rock into a side step brick thing. The Celtics make their lives way harder on nights where they take so many deep 2s. Just bad shots. I’d give up Tatum and Brown midrange jumpers for a 3 from one of the role players any day

Weissert should not have been given a second inning here in a close game. Really don’t get that

And great Cora wants to give another out away via bunt

If that ball doesn’t bounce out of Rafaela’s glove in the first inning we’re looking at another dominating outing from Crawford

When White is hitting shots the C's win easily. When he doesn't the games are always closer, or they lose. Need to get him going and find his shot. White has missed 2 shots. I have way more of an issue with Brown having 4 TOs and continuing to miss his FTs.

I am starting to get a little bit intrigued by Romy Gonzalez If his K rate is going to be 20% rather than the 30%+ he’s used to then he’s a lot more intriguing but that seems like pretty big if

96 paint and he doesn’t get the K leading to a single. So classic.

Gore stands in front of Connor Wong to prevent him from reaching home plate - immediately gives up 3 runs. Ball don’t lie My brother just said the exact same thing lol
