The offense is really struggling so far. Just an inability to string together hits. The left fielders, in particular, have been totally punchless. As noted before, get use to it. They really miss Ellsbury, let alone not having Shane playing. Sizemore, Jr. and X-Man will have their ups and downs in the first part at least. Missing from last year are Ellsbury, Drew, and Salty. It may take some time to make the transition

At least they are making CC work this inning. He got through the 3rd and 4th inning with 13 pitches total...

I am sorry, but the Cervelli fist pump lacks any professionalism and requires retribution.

No gold glove for Lester.

Lester's continued inability to field his position and control the running game has always left a bitter taste in my mouth. He's obviously a consummate pro with a terrific work ethic, but I've always felt like he should have improved these areas of his game.

C. C. played with Bradley that at bat. Good experience. C.C. does not have he heat of old, but the dude can pitch. I recall when the Yanks signed him a few years back, people were calling him a fat bastard and saying he would not last. He actually approached the Sox, but the Sox were "too smart", also needing the money for Beckett.

CC Sabathia has really turned into a junkball lefty, which unfortunately is a type of pitcher who has given the Red Sox problems in recent times.
How of course junkballers will give up the occasional moon shot...

Yankees can't produce their own....so they overpay for others. The venom is towards Ellsbury is accumulating....I can't help it.
