Yankees can't produce their own....so they overpay for others. The venom is towards Ellsbury is accumulating....I can't help it. I really felt that too last night. He looks so smug playing for the Yankees. Idk what it is but its annoying.

Oh my GOD Lester is getting squeezed. Death, taxes, and an inconsistent strike zone.

Game reminds me of a playoffs circa 2013. One big hit is a difference maker and relievers take over.

Game reminds me of a playoffs circa 2013. One big hit is a difference maker and relievers take over. That's just baseball in 2014. Not a lot of long-sequence offense in the game. The formula for winning is a three run homer followed by a string of flamethrowing relievers.

Whoa - no Koji to save an AL East game? Away? When he didn't pitch last night!? WTF!?

It should be noted that Brock Holt is tearing up SSSAAA for both average and power and that Herrera has options. 4/5 with a double and HR tonight.

No, he said it like it was strange and that he was throwing, not warming.

Maybe JF is trying to Jedi mind trick Mujica back into form in a save situation.
Jmei, I wish you could've trolled the Celtics thread tonight rooting for a win.

Not the toughest opposition but the Mo man has a nice clean 9th. Well done.

Koji ... shoulder stiffness? Shit! He's old and has a lot of mileage on his arm. We're lucky he even made it through the 2013 playoffs to be quite honest. Sounds precautionary, but a DL trip may not be a bad idea. I'd be very comfortable with Taz closing.

No plans for detailed exam/MRI yet.

Holt: 30PA .481/.548/.704/1.252
Herrera and Holt both have options and Holt is the better defender.
