Take 2 for Cosart! Here's to the sequel being better than (or at least equal to) the first!

Looks like Daniel McGrath is making a rehab start today for the GCL RS.
And replaced by De Jesus after 1 inning. Roldani Baldwin with a 2-run bomb to get things started.

Attended Lowell's home opener last night. There is more to this roster than I had feared, and it should only get better when the top draft choices sign.
Josh Ockimey is a very large man. Tate Matheny should be fun to watch in center, and Tucker Tubbs is also interesting. Looking forward to seeing Jake Cosart throw tonight.

GCL Sox improve to 5-0 with a victory over someone beside the GCL Rays (Twins today). 11 hits for the Sox. Nice outings from all 4 guys that took the mound today. Ramos, Aybar, and Lameda all with 2 hits apiece. Roldani Baldwin with a 2-run jack.

It's only a couple of hours away to the furthest team and look at the Sox? They play within a 4 team competition. GCL Tigers, who I mainly watch at least play within 6 teams, but they should play all since they are so close is my own 2c.

Agree. No reason they can't do one home and one away "interleague" series with each team per year, right?

Kapstein to Salem, Bryan Hudson to Greenville. Possibly making room for Benintendi soon?

Aberdeen takes a 2-1 lead on a BB, Singel, BB, WP, WP. This illustrates some of the struggles Cosart is likely to have early on.
EDIT: 2 more BB's in the 2nd after 2 outs, but he escapes with no runs allowed

Salem breaks through in the 4th on a bases loaded walk, followed by a single. 3-0 Salem. Buttrey out for the 5th. 4K's and 1H through 4 innings so far. Another solid outing on the mound for Ty.

The resurrection of Ty continues. It's funny how he stays under the radar in BA or whenever they have discussions on the Sox prospects. That's okay Soxprospects recognizes him.
I mentioned this before you have to love the fast start for Lowell and Gcl. More for Lowell it seems like they always struggle to get going.

Allen Craig and Rusney Castillo and Edward Mujica say hi. Yeah, if there's one concept the Sox ownership understands, it's sunk costs.

I buy the "can't start Johnson on three days' rest" argument. I just wish they'd given the extra start to Kelly instead of Masterson.

PawSox still haven't said who's starting on Monday, last I checked. It's interesting.

Are you saying you think Kelly won't report on time? Kelly is starting tomorrow. Monday would be Johnson's start.
