Does this mean the farm system just becomes trading chips for the big league roster now, like the Tigers did? Have witnessed 1st hand how Tigers A+ teams at Lakeland and GCL talent have been at the Detroit under Dombrowski. It's not like he was some kind of wonderboy with amateur talent anyway.
Is this the end of how we have seen it since Epstein took over and Cherrington followed? A Yankees, circa 10 years ago path?

Damn. Gotta reserve judgement on Dombrowski until you see what he does under this ownership, but all I feel is sadness to see Cherington go.
Thanks for 2013, Ben.

Trying real hard to hold down the throw-up.
I just don't understand why it had to happen so fast.

Good luck, Ben, in Chicago or San Diego next year. Thanks for 2013.

14 seasons in Detroit: — seasons w/more than 90 wins: 3 — titles: zero Why is 90 wins a meaningful number? Why not discuss the five playoff appearances and two AL pennants?
