Margot with another homer today.....a 2-run shot in the 2nd inning! Good to see him finishing strong this week.

Yeah it looks like Devers also got his second wind also the last few games. How many calls are the Sox FO going to get this offseason? Forget the main roster there all going to be about Greenville team.

Forget the main roster there all going to be about Greenville team. On the other hand, Moncada may be running out of steam. 6 - 7 games ago I was hoping he'd finish at .300 or above.

Quite the finish for Margot. Always interesting when all you need for the cycle in a single. Check that box off as well

Good to see Margot fattening his stats — he'll fetch a marginally better return for Trader Dave.

Greenville's tragic number is 2, with two games to go. Both Greenville and Asheville play at 7pm tonight and 2pm tomorrow.

Sea Dogs season ticket holder (and very rare poster) just back from the game.
Manuel Margot's game was everything we love and find fault in him. Except for the double which the right fielder lost in the sun, every ball was smoked. He barreled up every pitch hit into the field. Top it off with a fantastic running catch to rob a double.
However, the balls he hit for the homer and triple were well out of the strike zone. The HR ball was at his shoulders and about 1/2 foot outside. He reached for it, caught it on the sweet spot and drove it out to right field. Also, the single was a scalded line drive that reached the right-center wall. He pulled up at first but probably could've had a triple.
Great defense, amazing bat control, highly questionable pitch selection.

Following Logan Allen, I wonder if this is what Pirates' fans got to feel when they saw Tom Gorzelanny rise through the ranks.

Poor Mike Myers. Has to put up with the lame humor of minor league ballparks, like just now when the Potomac Nationals put a picture of Austin Powers up on the scoreboard over his stats when he was at bat. Must happen in every single ballpark

Wow, great day for Margot! I'm very excited for him and Travis. I wonder whether they begin next season at AA or AAA.

Margot hits the ball over the RF head and could have easily had a double but stopped at first to secure the "hit for the cycle" accolades. Not sure I like that. I've never heard of anyone doing that before. It was obviously intentional unless he pulled a hammy or something. The game wasn't over. I don't support going for individual accolades over team success.
