Yeah, the last thing I would say coming out of watching that inning was that Rick Porcello was hard done by BABIP luck. He gave up a crushed double that would have been a HR anywhere else in the league, hit a guy, walked a guy after going up 0-2 on him early and then gave up a single. All with 2 outs. He should be tarred and feathered and run out of Boston. Or if he makes it through 6 without giving up any more runs, they should give him a parade. One or the other. I don't know how you people watch baseball like this. I'd suggest looking at post totals, and in the mirror now and then.

Maybe you missed the point, which is that too many overreact to one pitch, one plate appearance, one inning, one game or one month. It had nothing to do with number of posts. Overreacting to such small events would make the unbelievably long season exhausting.

Vazquez seems to exclusively hit grouders to 2b or dribblers to 3b

That's ironic considering the post you just make a snarky "observation" on was literally just an observation. Me saying Porcello giving up a hard hit double, a HBP, a walk and a single leading to 2 runs was anything but bad BABIP luck. Pretty observational there.

You haven't been overreacting to anything today or in any other game thread. Go tweet about Benintendi's promotion which you didn't believe again.

That's just how I am. You don't have to like it. In fact, there is a simple solution that I tell people all the time, there is an ignore feature on the forum. Use it. Instead, when you make a snarky comment on a reasonable observation and get called out on it (not even by me), don't get all butt hurt.

It was ugly. But can't complain too much of Porcello only giving up 2 runs.

Well look at that, Porcello finishes with an acceptable though not great quality start. I imagine he's done, but might come out for the 6th. He's not through the order 3 times yet.

That JBJ K must pleased Jmei. What does that mean? Does he say that JBJ strikes out too much? He thinks that JBJ has contact issues that will catch up with him and we will end up with a so-so player. He clearly is a hater!
