Interesting stat from MASN. Bradley is now 0 for his last 20 at Camden. Fixed. I mean that stat was only interesting in an "interesting that anyone actually keeps track of such useless information" way.

Interesting stat from MASN. Bradley is now 0 for his last 20 at Camden. Those guys are good broadcasters, but the absolute uselessness of small sample size statistics, and the willingness of otherwise intelligent people to spout them is just amazing.

I'm ready to see the Sox move on from Hanigan.

Hanigan has been brutal at the plate this year

Is it me, or are we stranding a lot of runners on 3rd with 0-1 outs?

Twice we have let this guy off the hook with a guy at 3rd with less than two outs.

As long as they're not throwing it out there as anything more than an interesting oddity, I don't have any problem with it. I don't they're saying it's predictive or anything like that.

I mean that stat was only interesting in an "interesting that anyone actually keeps track of such useless information" way. I found it interesting in the context of his hitting streak. Speaks to the streaky history of JBJ.

Is it me, or are we stranding a lot of runners on 3rd with 0-1 outs? Yes, because they have men on 3rd with 0-1 outs a lot more than most seasons.

Love how Wright is learning to change speeds with his knuckleball. Really contributes to his nastiness. To Trumbo for the strikeout: 67 mph -> 59 mph -> 76 mph.

Is it me, or are we stranding a lot of runners on 3rd with 0-1 outs? I was thinking the same thing. Imagine if we DIDN'T lead MLB in runs scored?

They've been far more complimentary to the Sox lineup than the NESN team would likely to be if the situation was reversed. They're whole broadcasting team is much better. Unfortunately no Palmer today, listening to him is about equal to listening to Eck.

Man, I love what Wright has done for us this year but Hanigan has to dread every fifth day of his life right now. So hard on the catcher.

MASN example. They were just talking about Wright and knew that he didn't start throwing the Knuckler until 2011 in spite of a minor league career that went back several years. If Wright pitched for the Orioles, what are the odds that NESN would know that ? Hint, close to zero.

Just glancing at the box score and this caught my eye. Poor guy.
