They got away with one there. Replay looked like a foul ball to me.

Wonder if that high heat is always going to be an issue for Shaw or if he can adjust to it. He may just not have the batspeed to get to a high 95 unless he cheats on it.

As long as his swing has that pronounced uppercut, I think he's going to be vulnerable to hard stuff up.

Great job by Porcello there. He and Wright have been immensely important to this team.

Need that call. That's a good pitch.

SMH. Give them the damn bunt. They're gifting you an out.
EDIT: I don't blame Porcello for the first two baserunners. The first one struck out and the ump missed it. The second was a bloop single. But that walk when they're giving you an out is stupid.

He suddenly lost his control in this 4th inning with 3 walks. Come on....

Big K there. Come on, Porcello.

I'm confused, did they secretly call up Henry Owens and disguise him as Rick Porcello?

Porcello needs to dump his 4 seamer and only throw 2 seamers. Because he can't throw both.

It occurs to me that having Price and Wright pitch on consecutive days is not the brightest idea for spreading the bullpen workload...

Ugly inning but I'm happy to get out of that with only one run given up.

The pitch count is an issue, but that's coming up big in a tight situation.

Great recovery by Porcello there. I'm still not a fan, but it looks like it would turn horrid and it didn't and it's nice. We pile on on the starters and rightfully so, but after this inning it's time for the bats to back him up.

This recent inning hurt him with too many balls and pitch count (39) went up rapidly. Hate to force to use bullpen once he get over 100+ in 5th inning.
