Jesus Hanley is making some plays tonight.
That curveball is filthy I'll give Pom that.

Now he's settling in nicely.
....and Hanley "Gold Glove" Ramirez. Impressive.

Pomeranz looks an awfully lot like Jon Lester when he's pitching.

So they're wearing the 1975 throwbacks again? But they're not all wearing the same style sock: is that Holt sporting the old "navy-top-with-two-white-stripes" look? Looks weird without stirrups and sanis.

Ramirez is definitely having a game. I still find it trouble that he can't turn on anything anymore but I'll take it.
The waistband of our pants tonight is fuego.

Seriously? The team doctors are like "he should be ready to go on Friday," and you take that to mean "if he's not ready for Wednesday that means he won't be on Friday, shut him down for July." Okay. Yup Just curious where you got your medical training? Or your PT degree? Or where you bought those medical books? Or what website you've perused?

Hey I don't know but I'm excited by pomeranz, looks good out there, nasty curve as note previous. Hanley making some nice defensive plays and going yard opposite field. Hope hes starting to heat up with the power.

Nice start by Pomeranz. Having said that the Giants lineup is pretty enemic, especially with Belt slumping since all star break.

Getting closer and closer to his pull side because of my constructive criticism.

Nice start by Pomeranz. Having said that the Giants lineup is pretty enemic, especially with Belt slumping since all star break. Plenty of enemic offenses have taken Buchholz, Rodriguez, Owens and Kelly behind the woodshed this year. So I'll take this regardless of the opponent.

Looks like he will get the W in his first game.
What's the deal with Leon. Is he a late bloomer or is this just SSS noise?

If Sandy Leon has pulled an Encarnacion/Bautista/Ortiz transformation I would not mind.
Wow this game is out of hand now and I love it.

Regardless of how I feel about the value of the trade, I've always (at times irrationally) liked Pomeranz and am glad to see he's finally added a useful 3rd pitch to his arsenal. So I'm really glad to see him having a lot of success, and he's looked good thus far tonight.
Also, love to see this offense hitting bullets everywhere. What a fun team.

Leon has been an enigma this year. He's never done anything like this in the minors or majors. Crazy. Pomeranz is doing better than I thought he would. Though its only three innings so far. Hanley hitting!
