Looking at the box score - first four hitters in our line up - .320, .310, .319, .320. If JBJ is about to get going again - just a few holes (but gaping in LF and 3B).

The Red Sox won the type of game they've been winning. David Price has been pitching well and Pedroia has been amazing lately.

David Price knew what he was walking into when he signed with Boston. He has walked through a curtain of fire and come out on the other side.

When Mookie hit that homerun the guy sitting behind me at Fenway was like "Go on, git! Git outta here!!" just like Hawk Harrelson

Mookie for MVP? He's on pace for: 100+ R, 200+ H, 30+ HR, 100+ RBI, 23+ SB, .320 Avg., .360 OBP, and .918 OPS. Solid season.

Why would Farrell throw in Ziegler in a game where the Sox are winning by 6 runs?? Even the wins are losses with Farrell at the helm.

So whatever happened to David Price bringing his glove up high to his chest level in his delivery? Every pitch I saw he never brought it up, it was at his waist the whole game.

If the Sox lose the division by a game they can blame the Twins RF (Kippler?) he turned an out/single into a homerun, absolutely butchered the play, twice! It was if he was an imbeded Blue Jay

A win tonight gets 2 out of 3, all I wanted, Twins are not helping the cause.

@ken_Rosenthal Source: #Dodgers placed Puig on trade waivers today. Yes, please. As a DH? I would think the Sox outfield is set with the killer Bs unless the plan is to deal Bradley plus for an ace like pitcher? Otherwise is he worth the headache?

Tim Britton @timbritton 23m23 minutes ago Pomeranz, Wright and Price taking BP, which suggests Sox will stay in-line with the five-man rotation up to and through San Diego.

Update on Pedroia. It's a funeral and tomorrow's game is in the bag. From Scott Lauber of ESPN:
Dustin Pedroia, who is away from the Red Sox tonight to attend family funeral services, will rejoin the team early Monday evening. Pedroia won't start Monday night's game, but will be available off the bench. In fact, manager John Farrell said Pedroia texted that he plans on getting a walkoff hit in the bottom of the ninth.

Gameday on mlb.com has some nice new features, such as going to any at bat of the game and seeing the individual pitches and where they were pitched.

Hoping I do a reverse jinx here, but this game feels already like a loss. More killer DPs. Meanwhile, Toronto took care of Minnesota at home, something the Red Sox failed to do.
There's a lot to do about all the road games, but the Red Sox haven't exactly been setting the world on fire at home lately.
