is it a coincidence that Machado and Harper, my two least favorite players in the game now that A-Rod is done, are potential future Yankees?

Just over 60 pitches to get through 6 innings, boy the Orioles hitters are really working Porcello!!

Porcello has been honing his craft for what 7-8 years, and now he's at peak performance. That's a nice break for the Sox.

Yeah, maybe Ben had the occasional good idea after all. /s Sucks when your good idea takes a full year to materialize.

Yeah, maybe Ben had the occasional good idea after all. /s Ben got a bit shafted for sure, but come on it's not like his tenure was perfect either.

They hit Ortiz. Tell me...did it look on purpose?

Hey, Machado, see what Papi did there? He put his bat down and trotted down to first.

Ben put Hanley in LF....that's on him. Not saying it wasn't rational, but it wasn't the right decision.

They hit Ortiz. Tell me...did it look on purpose? Breaking ball that barely grazed him. Probably not intentional.

They hit Ortiz. Tell me...did it look on purpose? Not at all. It was a breaking ball that he pulled a bit.

I've said this before, but Porcello is a joy to watch when he's on. Pumping strikes in, working fast ... he's got a Maddux line in today's game so far.

Two more batters and then the lineup comes around the fourth time. Can't have him going through another time.
