Wow, Ortiz wanted that double. Reward him with the pinch runner.

Worst case scenario....Brock's great game means nothing and we lose......and JF keeps him there for the rest of the playoffs and he does nothing. Credit to him for a great game tonight, and I still believe the Cleveland catcher blocked his entrance to home plate and therefore obstructed. He definitely blocked the plate but I feel like you need to force the umpire to make that call. Buster Posey's knee be damned if the catcher is blocking the plate you should be able to blow him up.

I know saber guys say just because it worked doesn't mean it was right. But Holt came thru tonight and will be the 3b in game 2. Big papi flashing the speed.

I love Tito, but I'm not sure he's doing anything GENIUS here. He's just overworking dudes. Sure, he always did that in the playoffs. I'm convinced he basically ended Keith Foulke's career in the 2004 playoffs. Rode him like an army mule, and Foulke was never the same again. Also, the 2004 playoffs were quite literally the last games of Curt Leskanic's career. Francona just empties the tank of his bullpen during the playoffs.

If they overturn this I'm out. He was downright safe.

Hanley is exactly the guy I want to have the opportunity here too.

Need Hanley to come through here because I have zero trust in Xander right now.

Imagine how useful Moncada could be right here if he had gotten a bigger shot towards the end of the season, especially the final week where they just gave up.

Never thought I'd say this but I might PH Shaw for Bogaerts. Xander looks bad.
