A rare 2017 laugher. Fun game to watch (well, those last few innings were just getting through the outs).
Let's do it again tonight!

This is like perfectly set up for Porcello and Price to nut up. It's redemption time!

To be fair that's only 27 of the 49 games which isn't a huge sample. I also threw down 50 bucks last night when I heard Farrell was out, so I'll take it.

Third day in a row without Hanley in the lineup. I'm a happy man 😀

I mean, he's got a point? His strikeout and walk numbers vs. lefties this year are fine, and his 27 balls in play vs. lefties are so small a sample as to be pretty much meaningless.

He strikes as not a very cerebral person,to put it politely, in the Manny mold with much less talent. I can't stand him too 😊

And yet Alex Speier wrote about this crap for half of his 108 Stitches today. He must be getting advice from Cafardo. 45 plate appearances Alex.

How many times this season have we been going for a win that will get us 10 games over .500?

What are batters hitting Porcello on 2 strikes? The lack of a consistent offspeed pitch is creaming him this year.

The strike him out twice special to end an inning. I just love Porcello's passion and intensity!

JBJ is learning to love that Green Monster and it's what is making him a very good hitter.

Rick Poorfellow. We need that guy to make a deep run in October.

I dunno. I'm not thinking much about this team for October. Any lineup with Moreland batting cleanup and Young 5th isn't going anywhere.

I like our pitching to get us to the postseason. I also don't think there are better teams in our division. I don't view these guy as World Series favorites, but I am pretty confident they will make the postseason, barring major injury setbacks. I think improved price or porcello really puts the team in a good spot.

I can see the offense hitting a stretch when it clicks and puts up some consistent run totals - hopefully the pitching will remain good when it happens. Mookie and Benny, for two, have to figure it out again soon. Clearly - at least so far - that stretch doesn't start tonight.

Dave O'Brien likes JD Drew so maybe he's not as dumb as I thought.
