I think we have ourselves a cleanup hitter for the next 12-15 years. It's early... but that oppo power reminds me so so much of a younger Papi

It seems to me like everytime Gonzalez pitched a game against the Sox in Fenway, it was a gem despite his mediocre stuff. I've done my part, I hand the ball to you now Rick

Yankees already down 2-0 after 1 in Sonny Gray's debut. Not his fault though, 3 NYY errors that inning.

The kid is built for Fenway. I hope he is smarter than Lynn and never leaves.

Squeezed on the walk and then a soft ground ball single gets Porcello in trouble.

Squeezed on the walk and then a soft ground ball single gets Porcello in trouble. Now a broken bat hit through the infield for a run. And, a wild pitch. Not the shut down inning that would've been nice after 4 runs.

Was walking on air, but alas, Rick Porcello is on the mound.

Porcello just seems to lose his focus this season. So weird..this is unfortunate It's not losing focus when no balls are hit hard. It's crap luck. There could be 6 outs in this inning.

Nothing hard hit and hopefully that's all White Sox get tonight.

If Porcello would settle down and work on throwing strikes instead of trying to finesse pitches with a runner on he might get out of jams though ... seems like he goes into panic mode way to early every start this year.

JBJ must have like 2 miles worth of outs. Also, Moook!

is this the offensive breakout we have hoped for. Nunez and Devers are doing great things

Devers is so hot they should just walk him to get to Bogaerts.

Porcello was great last year. This years Rick is more like his career norms. It's not really bad luck in 1 inning or 1 game. He has to be perfect to be last year's Porcello, which isn't a slight on his ability. This is what we should probably get used to. he is still a good pitcher.

Is it an out if Devers hits the ball so hard it sticks in someone's chest?

Moncada's approach is still terrible, but it works when the umpire is squeezing the pitcher. Why doesn't he get the rookie treatment that everyone else gets?
