Hope the Sox can tack on an insurance run here. We all know what happens when Kinbrel enters with a one run lead.

Is Bogey finding his stroke again? It's the stroke of a singles hitter, but he's not an automatic out at least.

Amazing how much better 2-0 looks than 1-0.

Chris Kimbrel is unbeatable.

When Kimbrel is on he's unfair. That stuff is just impossible.

Another Sox win. Another Yankees loss. Four games up. Life could be worse.

That was a whirlwind. 16 K's on the night? Golly... we'll take that.

Sales is a beast. Ditto Kimbrel. We continue to be in a good place. Porcello has a good record in Tampa so optimistic about tomorrow...
Onward!

still hurts to have 12 hits and only 2 runs. We need power to make this team whole.

Would be nice to seriously pull away from the Yankees in the division to avoid a stressful Aug/Sep.

MLB should do away with 2 games series. It seems a waste. Same with the 4-game series. And the 162 game schedule. And Interleague play with different rules. I'm fine with interleague. We play Toronto, NYY, Balt and TB like 19 times a year already. Does that number really need to go up?

Having to face Sale then kimbrel is almost unfair.

Chris Kimbrel is unbeatable. Kris Kringle. Every day they pitch is like Christmas.

Absolute masterpiece by Sale and Kimbrel. You don't pitch much better than that. And they even pick up a game on the Yankees.

Sale was beyond amazing tonight.
So glad he pitched for us now.

Poor Rays got a ticked off Chris Sale that was coming off his worst outing in his Sox career.
Last night he threw his best start in his Sox career so far. I don't think the Rays got a runner past second all game.

Meanwhile, Aaron Judge continues to be very mortal in the second half. His strikeouts are up, his hard contact is down, and his BABIP is way way down.
