I thought of them. But Pomeranz is a former high pick who made an all-star team last year and for whom we dealt a solid prospect. He's been a very good No. 2 starter but I don't think that's out of the range of what we could have reasonably thought was possible. Ditto for Kimbrel. He's had a great year. But we knew he was a stud. Workman, yes. I guess we could lump him in with Nunez and Devers as a significant partial-season contributor. No one expected Kimbrel or Pomeranz to pitch like they have this year. Kimbrel has had his best year of his career after several decline years and everyone was wondering if Pomeranz needed TJS in spring training.

RDev's defense hasn't been talked about much because he got off to such a hot start with the bat. But it's pretty bad. B-Ref has him -.3 WAR on defense.

Workman has been bad in 4 straight appearances now. Everything hit hard off him.

Sorry, but those last 2 plays need to be made. I know ther tough plays, but i just think they need to make the plays.
Well, just like Devers just made a nice play on a tough one. Still, gotta do better then 1 out of 3.
Get the bats going.................AGAIN

If we get the strike zone that we've gotten tonight, there's no possible chance that we win anything, no matter how they play. None, zero, none. There is no point in bitching about anything other than the umpire. I'd seriously consider just taking the players off the field and going home. How's that for a reverse jinx? haha Hope it works out that way, but if they don't stop treating the Orioles like they're the 27 Yankees it won't matter. Hold them down.

Workman has been bad in 4 straight appearances now. Everything hit hard off him. Not to make an excuse for him, but he was SQUEEZED in a big way. Threw Becham 4 strikes yet the count was 3-1.

The Orioles have an awesome bullpen capable of shutting the Red Sox down.

13 games left and then the PS. I'm not sure I'll survive. These games are all a nervous breakdown waiting to happen for me.

Why are the O's getting these pitches called strikes? Like Farrell said: those pitches haven't been strikes all night.
