Pitching matchup favors the Sox in every game 1. The offense is missing a lot of bats though.
Mookie is questionable. Hanley is out. Nunez is out.
They will outpitch the Orioles for the most part imo, but will that score?
That's the real question. Even against the Orioles questionable pitching staff.

Fister and his first innings is frustrating.
At least he only gave up 1.

Looks like fister is turning back into the pumpkin we all expected when he signed.
Hopefully this is just a minor blip and he can return to the form from a couple of weeks ago.

Fister not getting one of those 50/50 calls go his way. His in big trouble when he doesn't get those pitches.

Get him out. Can't play games here. You have 80 pitchers in the pen.

Looks like another game full of rooting for the Yankees to lose.

Yeap, looks like another lost game by the 3rd inning by Fister.
Bundy is one of the more harder pitchers in the league to hit.

We got this. Offense will pick us up. I never thought it as possible to hate another organization like I do the MFY, but I can confirm that the O's are right there

So basically the Red Sox are playing the Orioles the way they typically do, and if the Yankees play the Twins the way they typically do, this race is going to get a lot tighter over the next few days.
When Fister gets in a groove after the 1st inning, he's gold, but when he doesn't he buries the team.
If he doesn't make the post-season rotation if the Sox are in the ALDS, then Fister would not be a guy you'd want coming out of the bullpen.

That last slider that X saw was very hittable and he has to be able to drive that. We had a lead off hit and guys weren't able to advance one/base. Really frustrating;

Seriously, this is just a poorly coached baseball team.
They have some of the worst fundamentals I've ever seen.

Correction, 5 walks in 2+ innings. Someone needs to investigate and sue the league. There have been at least 8 strikes called balls in 2+ innings, including 3 in a row. It's so clear that the league wants the Yankees to overtake the Red Sox. If I were Fister, I would have thrown at the ump.

was a different Foster. I feel for Fister. He needs a decent strike zone to be successful. I mean he hasn't walked that many guys with the Sox, so I am going to go out on a limb and say the ump is full of it.
Add: And I am not gonna throw Fister under the bus either. He had a great stretch for us. He deserves to get the call for the rest of the regular season. He obviously was getting screwed here.

If only one of the many under-performing players on this team was having the year we expected, I wouldn't have to be so miserable and stressed watching this shit-show. Give me the performance we could have reasonably expected from just one of Mookie, Bogaerts, Porcello, Hanley, Ed-Rod, and we have a lead of another couple of games.
Who has surpassed all reasonable expectations this year? Vaz, I guess. Maybe Devers and Nunez for a short burst. That's about it.

If we get the strike zone that we've gotten tonight, there's no possible chance that we win anything, no matter how they play. None, zero, none. There is no point in bitching about anything other than the umpire. I'd seriously consider just taking the players off the field and going home.
