Dude there's still more than a 3rd of the game left, what are you doing?? The Yankees are losing this game. Have faith. I’ve had faith the whole time. Remember what you were saying in game 5?

I think we were some of the few NOT anointing NYY world series champs earlier this week. Houston has controlled home field and is three outs away, but I'm not celebrating until the Yankees book their tee times.

Not a word should be spoken until you know what happens. Even though not speaking about it has no bearing on the outcome.

Having faith, interestingly, means believing in something that is not based on reality

Listen to Joe Buck trying to hype up the Yankees year as they go down in flames.
Try to show no bias, Joe Buck and Fox.

It's really not a big deal. It's good to be wrong sometimes.

The Yankees lost just like they were supposed to and that's all that matters.

Two things I noticed in this game: Sanchez is fond of visiting the mound, why didn't he do that after Kahnle threw a change inside to McCann? Seriously, that's one pitch you can't throw to McCann (and I don't want to look it, but dude's an extreme pull hitter and he has been one even more this postseason). Then he comes back with another soft change inside and that's probably the game right there. Unreal. The fact that Sanchez probably called for those pitches is just unbelievable.
The other thing is that I felt good about Didi having a sombrero in this game initially because screw the MFY lol but then I realized that dude was a slap hitter until like yesterday, to become a power threat like that really takes some kind of dedication and he must have worked his a** off. Then I felt kind of bad. I guess the rivalry loses a bit of the fun when you're getting older but then I saw notorious wife beater Chapman walking the field and I felt awesome again.

Some people feel the need to express their emotions good and bad all the time to show their passion. You may be different and that's perfectly okay too. I'm absolutely glad to not have my fears come alive and have the Yankees in the world series like I was expressing days ago. It's all good now.

Whoooo. So glad to be wrong about this! It was close. Thank you Houston for coming back to win the pennant. NOW I can enjoy the World Series.
When I first started watching baseball Houston and LA were division rivals. My first season was 1980 and the Astros had a 3 game lead against LA with 3 left to play and LA beat them all three games to force a tie and create a 1 game playoff in which Houston won, making them the division champs.
The next year, in that weird split strike season, the Astros blew a 2 game to 0 lead over LA, and the Dodgers came back and won on the way to their 1981 World Championship.
Hope the Series goes 7 exciting games.

No, but a good guess. I was to young & dumb not to watch in 1977/78 & 1981, but i learned my lesson. It was the 2000 WS when those 2 NY teams played each other. I REFUSED to watch. I figured if i didn't watch it, then it didn't happen>LOL That was the world series where I was hoping for a nuclear war to intervene before the 2000 World Series was decided. No such luck! HAHAHA>Me too, though. Got a text from my friend, and this is all he text : "You can watch the World Series now"
