Nunez hitting clean up today. Sigh... But but he's right handed!!!! With reverse splits lmao. I really hope we score from the first inning cause I don't wanna read tweets after every single inning saying that the Sox didn't score in X number of inning. It seems like the beat writers, Pete Abraham in particular, love these type of twweting. IRRC Rondon threw his best game of the year last time we faced him in Fenway.

Oh Lord...if we lost another to these clowns it will feel like a damn 10 game losing streak. Need to get out of this quickly.

Those 2 runs are a direct result of the ump missing a clear strike 3. OTOH, Price's stuff looks really good.

That was badly needed. Vaz and Swihart looked very bottom of the order-ish.

Quite a rocket arm for Devers

Must have been a pretty severe optical illusion / brain malfunction to see JD swing at a pitch in that fashion

Are you 12? We are all above childish nicknames. I think he was being sarcastic. Is that a FACT???

Devers' hit was 113 mph, Vazquez' was 103 mph.

nothing pisses me off more than striking out looking with a guy on third and nobody out

Rodon has filthy stuff, especially when he gets every close call. Thankfully he's out of there soon.

I like Swihart's approach, but we just can't tell if he can get enough hits to be productive. that was a wasted at-bat, but he wasn't fooled until the last pitch.

That is an unfortunate conclusion, the last 2 innings.

We are in a stretch where making contact after getting the first few men on base seems near impossible.

We are in a stretch where making contact after getting the first few men on base seems near impossible. Rodon's stuff is like Sale's. It's not surprising.

Mookie's going to have a lot of catching up to do when he gets back.

That was Rodon's 76th pitch, caught in the bullpen by Hector Velazquez (#76)...

Ok, I’ll say this a few times over the season: I was not gung ho about JD in the off season. I was fine signing him,but I would have been ok with the likes of Logan Morrison. Mea culpa and all that. I did not realize how good he is. He has such a great swing, and he is such a thoughtful hitter.
That’s why I am not even a fantasy GM.
